Title: Drawing of grandson

My Son in Law took a picture of my grandson coming from a fishing trip this summer.I ask Mr Wess Vandenbark if he could make me a charcoal drawing of it. This was special to me because my grandson had his great grand fathers Hat on, he was carrying a worm can his grand father gave him,and the black dog in the picture was run over and killed in the very same spot just two weeks after the photo was taken. Some of you may have already seen and heard this story from my facebook but I wanted to share it here on OG and let all of your see what a fine Artist we have in the company of OG. If you have a special something you want to get a drawing made of I highly suggest giving Mr Wess Vandenbark a call,you will not be disappointed. Thanks again Wess for a fine piece of art and I got it framed  for Fathers Day how cool is that.

Sorry to read that the dog is now gone but what a touching display of talent displayed on paper,  you now have a memory of that particular moment of your grandson growing up that you can always look back upon for a smile.

I have several drawings from Wess. the man is pure talent !!!
he puts life into everything he draws.

I loved the pic you provided.  It reminded me of a "Simpler Time" when a boy could be a boy on a long summer's day with his best side-kick!

Wess I had it framed in a Black frame with a white inner border and a gold plate on the bottom that reads" SIMPLER TIMES"

That is great. I would love to see the photo as well as the framed drawing. Great drawing.
