I wanted to share this with you folks. Last season I was looking for to hold my mouth calls better. I tried different case and they were all ok but my go to was the primos case. The down side was it didn't do a good job drying the reeds after use, and because it was plastic it would clang against locators if I hung it on a lanyard. My wife and daughter told me to try Etsy to see if someone has made anything for turkey hunting. I laughed and that they ain't going to have anything like that. I ate my words I found two one was made out of leather like the old primos case and the I bought was prefect. It was soft material on one side and mesh on the other to all the reeds of your calls to dry,and it came with Paracord lanyard. I didn't like the lanyard so I shorten up and a clip to it instead. Here is the link if you want to check it out. He has alot of different option for camo.

I had something like that, but I wanted to have something that would allow the reeds to dry better. That is why I was super happy to find this on Etsy.
Although it's all personal preference as to what a guy prefers to use, the one important comment I would make about whatever is used to carry and/or store mouth calls, it should be something that you can easily and regularly disinfect. Using something that cannot be disinfected reliably will eventually catch up to you in the form of a sore throat,...or worse. Been there, done that!
Nowadays, I only use some sort of plastic or hard-surface container that I can easily and regularly disinfect to carry mouth calls,...or any other type of call that is mouth operated. :icon_thumright:
I use a soft plastic coin purse that I punched full of holes with a leather punch. Keeps calls clean and its easy to clean and sanitize.
Never gave it any thought before this post came out.
Moore thanks for sharing and I appreciate the photos.
I been using a Penn's Woods metal tin made in Delmont, Pa. I got it maybe 50 years ago or more so it might be time to retire it and get something new.
I think it's old enough to collect Social Security!
Funny I was just on E Bay and I see a guy selling the same tin I have for $39.95. I think back in the day I paid maybe 3 or 4 dollars for mine.
Nice cases for sure !!!
My diaphragms still ride in a ratty, 39 year old, plastic, Skoal Long Cut can. ;D
