Title: Oklahoma, Texas outfitters recommendations
Post by: Moore on January 08, 2023, 12:30:40 PM
I'm in the process of making plans for the 2024 spring turkey season. I had pretty much everything iron out for hunting Kansas. After talking to the Kansas DNR it appears I need to make back up plans. The representative I spoke with told me  they are  suggesting the bag limit would be one bird state wide and non residents would be a draw, and unsuccessful hunters would start earning  preference points. With those changes  I need to come up with some sort of plan B. I was looking to see if anyone could recommend any  outfitters or guides in Oklahoma or ever Texas.
Thanks for any help you can give.

That is correct for Kansas. Population down 90% in many areas.

Oklahoma and most of Texas is not any better. Birds are hurting everywhere. Not just here.

Yeah that is what I'm hearing. I think I will just have to sit tight and see what happens and just start applying.
