Just picked up a Stevens 301 20GA for next turkey season. Curious what was your guys favorite Ammo and choke combinations for that setup? Typically prefer a more even pattern rather than extremely tight. Thanks in advance!
we run 562 for hot pattern. 570 for hunter friendly pattern. Now shells pick what you can find.
If this is the 301T I have one in 20 and 410. They are great guns. I shoot the stock turkey choke that comes with it in both. The thing patterns so well with Federal #9 TSS that I never tried another choke tube. I run a Carlson 575 non ported turkey tube in all my other 20 gauge. The stock choke will give you the pattern you are looking for , I like the more even patterns also. Good luck!

I wish I would've bought another box of their #10s. They did well out of my set up!

Someday I will try some Wilson, if I can ever find them. Right now my 301 20ga shoots Apex 1 5/8 9's shoots out to 40-50 no problem.

As of the foreseeable future they will not be producing anything as far as I know. Hopefully they will produce more.
