Title: Another big mail day!
Post by: Meleagris gallopavo on December 22, 2022, 03:07:13 PM
Well it just so happens that I received 2 trumpets on the same day again!  On the left is an African Black Olive trumpet from Jeremy Simpson.  On the left is a Cocobolo trumpet from Bob Buckner.  Both are players.  (https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20221222/b3d965d934759c058019657d51c21c40.jpg)

Congrats on a couple sweet horns! That could have been coal if you were bad this year.

Very nice looking pair of calls, well worth the trip to the mailbox.

What is the ferrel and mouthpiece made from on the olive trumpet on the left, (the real left, not your other left  :))

Ferrule is buffalo horn, mouthpiece is camel bone.  The mouthpiece is actually cut diagonally which adds another dynamic.
