How many guys on here have a gobble for their ringtone or alarm clock? Presently mine's just the alarm clock.

No, I don't, but I like it.
That's something i might have to look into but then I might be sleeping in the spare bedroom!

Gobble ringtone, definitely an obsessed Turkey addict and proud of it. :turkey2:

I've always slept on the top bed of bunk beds.   I used to fly up at night and fly down at first light.   But the last several years I just strut around on the top bunk at first light then use the ladder.   I had the gobble ringtone years ago, but now have a hoot owl.

When I wake office computer up it plays a spring morning with different song birds. At the end of the sequence a crow fires off and you know what answers him.

I wear Mossy Oak Bottomland socks to important business meetings. I keep bionoculars in my car at all times. I once moved a family photo and put up a turkey fan in its place. I haven't used a weed or grub pesticide on my lawn in 20 years, I look at it as turkey food. A deer hunting friend once ribbed me for foolishly chasing silly birds, he's no longer a friend. I roast wild turkey for Thanksgiving. I carefully siphon off vacation savings money to buy turkey calls.

Not on my phone, but when I call my friend my ringtone on his phone is a gobble.  And he doesn't even hunt them.

My former hunting buddy (he moved out of state) had a ringtone gobble for when I called. Not sure if he changed the ringtone after he moved

Funny, video please. I had a ringtone, I got to be too much. I am an addict for sure and a turkey call addict as well. Keep telling myself I am going to slow down with the calls but its so hard, slot of awesome call makers out there and great guys!

but I've drawn so much air thru a wingbone call when I pass gas yelps and clucks come out.

Beyond addict.   But my ringtone is a cardinal.  Never have to turn the ringer down in the turkey woods.  Can have a bird in my lap and my phone rings..........turkey never flinches.

I make my own calls to hunt with. Pretty much covers it.

My ringtone is a hen cutting and a gobbler responding.  My wife hates it but she's decided to just live with it!

I did, and it's too late.
.They were right all along, it's the fluoride in the water, or was it too much corn, it'll come to me.




And double secret probation is still better than than the draft board being notified.
about getting time for a fall turkey road trip

I'd say addicted and I dont want cured. First weekend of our bow season and my brother and I are talking turkey from the tree stands. Hes hearing a gobbler sound off past 2 days. Also planning our spring trek westward.

Also kids report back first thing about turkeys they have seen from the school bus before they say how school or ball practice went that day
. Whole family are ate up with it.

Guess by your description, I'm just a wanna be. No ringtone, no alarm. Now my wife does wake me and says " Hey Turkey , get out of bed". Not sure that counts.

That's Ok. There's different stages of the disease.

I had the gobble ringtone installed once for a single call, at which point "the boss" said to remove it immediately,..."or else".  Naturally, I put my foot down on the matter,...and removed it immediately.   ;D

I still have an alarm clock that gobbles,...but haven't used it in a while.  I know better than to put a gobble on my phone as the alarm sound because,...well, see first point above. 

I do have a bottle opener that gobbles and yelps when you open a bottle, but that has been relegated to the hunting cabin,...again, see first point above. 

All in all, I suppose I am a wannabe, but the "silver lining" is that at least I am still alive (i.e...."or else" covers a lot of possibilities that I do not wish to explore)     ;D :angel9:

I used to have it as my text ringtone. Then people started looking around when they would hear it and they would seem puzzled haha

After a while my coworkers said it was bugging them so I caved and went to default ping or whatever

Wannabe here. Never have had a gobble ring tone in my life. No turkey stickers or decals. As far as most know I have never even heard a turkey gobble. I do spend a lot of time looking for mushrooms in the spring though.

My brother and I were standing beside a big Cedar one morning. Waiting patiently ...

Whippoorwill blows our ear drums out from that Cedar. He recorded it and made it his ringtone. Sounds sweet. He has a android phone so I don't know if it would work on iOS.

I'll see if I can get it from him and attach it here for you android guys.

I've always had the crickets ringtone so if I forgot to silence my phone I'm good.

  I have an old NWTF alarm clock. It still works!  Gobble- Gobble- until,I flatten that Button.

Ditto to what Happy said. I enjoy the heck out of turkey hunting but I don't display it in public, so my answer is no. I'll turn in my club card and just mushroom hunt, if a turkey gets in my mushroom patch I'll shoot him to defend my shrooms....

My "gobble" ringtone has been a very positive thing for me. When certain people in my circle hear it that are unfamiliar with Turkey sounds, they are inquisitive, and ask what it is. When I tell them it's a wild Turkey calling, they say Wow, did not know that was a Turkey. Believe it or not, it has led me to be able to hunt some private parcels where these people heard the now familiar gobbles. Have not had any "Negative" reactions from the ringer. I silence it in crowds, restaurants, etc. Be well, be safe

 After 34 years I haven't figured it out. Hopefully, before I die I will figure out where I stand on this one. I hope to not miss a spring in the woods until I die.

Kind of hate to die in the woods, just because I realize it would be a pain for the people whom sometimes like me. But, thats where I hope to draw my last breath!
