Nothing beats pulling a fine trumpet out of the mailbox on a gloomy, humid, hump day to brighten things up. This one is from Seth Hamon, and he knocked it out of the park. It is made from black linen Micarta for the body, lower mouthpiece, and lip stop. The brass ferrules have been blackened to a " gun metal" appearance, and the tip of the mouthpiece is made from black Ultem.

The grain of the linen is near impossible to photograph and do the call any sort of justice. Seth's craftsmanship and quality is definitely near the top, and he charges extremely reasonable prices for his work.

Seth informed me this was very limited material and he doesn't plan to make many, if any more like this. It was ordered to be an all-weather, very sturdy trumpet and he delivered for sure.

Really good looking call. i have one of his in Snakewood/ABW combination. Seth is a great guy and his craftsmanship is outstanding.

I would love to play one,and see in person. I quit making the show rounds years ago.I stick to most of the old school makers.His interests me.I hope to get one some day.Nice unique looking call.
