Does anyone know where you could purchase wild hen wing bones for a trumpet or wing bone call.
I've looked a few places and found mostly gobbler and Jake bones but am looking for a few hen bones.
Thanks in Advance

Someone that pen raises wild strain birds for processing might be able to help you out.
State I hunt has no fall season so no hen harvest. The few I've gotten I've procured from hens that had been hit along the side of the road. Snow goose radiuses work really well for comparable mouthpieces. They're usually easier to find. Can usually find a waterfowler who's willing to save you some wings.

Just some information from someone who has handled many hundreds of wingbones. Turkey wingbones all vary, and you really don't know which bones will make a good call (or not) until you cut the ends off. Very often, the ID on a gobbler bone is the same or LESS, because of bone wall thickness, than a hen's.
My favorite all around bones are Jake's. I do, however, use a lot of goose bone mouthpieces or hen's when I get them.
I have been searching for some myself with no luck. If I run across any I will let you know.
Mine are all road kill.
