Ballistic products maybe, but I would definitely go with TSS, probably not drastically more money than HEVI but much better product!

I'm an AVID Hevi 7 guy in 12 gauge.  I bought up enough 7's to last me a lifetime when they were putting up 300 plus years ago at $25 a box.  IMO, TSS is a waste of money in a 12 at $10 plus a shell and $50 to $60 a box.  They are WAY over kill especially if most kills are inside 40 yards.  In 20's and .410's, it definitely levels the playing field to that magical 40 yard mark.  I would love to know where I could get my hands on some Hevi 7 shot and reload some 2 3/4 inchers.  BAD MEDICINE on turkeys IMHO!

As far as reloading I do not think TSS is drastically more money than HEVI shot.  Weird thing is they were showing HEVi in 7.5, I have only ever seen it in 7 in the past.

Simple enough to load TSS in 12ga with 1 5/8th oz to save some shot/money, but guys gotta be all they can be most times!

I completely agree on TSS being over kill in 12ga with a heavy pay load, a 1 5/8th oz in 12ga would be a really nice low recoil load, I am actually considering a 1 1/4oz for my 20ga.
