I don't make very many calls and sure wouldn't ever consider myself any sort of callmaker, but I made this pair for a couple friends recently and thought they come out pretty slick. They actually sound incredibly good for a halfwit. Had Daniel Jones, of Daniel Jones Custom Calls, make me some strikers to go with them. Really like the [mention]JLH [/mention] snakewood and toad strikers on them. Kinda wish I'd made one for myself

Those look really nice .. good job ... my very first slate call was a piece of slate glued in a turtle shell with a homemade cedar corncob striker. I still have the call...
