Hi All,
Apologies if this is covered in another thread, but I searched and couldn't find what I am looking for. I am looking to start using a tube call because they seem to be great at locating birds. Locating is my primary use since I use a diaphragm for everything else, so something very loud and high-pitched is what I'm thinking. Does anyone have any suggestions for me. Call maker, material, latex thickness? I've read a lot of the threads but still curious for input.
I saw the Prudhomme tube on the KT website - made out of delrin. I know his reputation in the calling world is at the top, but has anyone used that call before?
I have 2 of Mark's tube calls and killed a bird with one.
You can get volume out of it but if you want ''shock gobblin'' volume I would suggest a K&H Widowmaker or and old Primos shock tube like these
