Title: This is why I love our OG Family

This community is the best ever peeps. My wife just did her first solo hunt, With OG pushpin, and had birds gobbling and strutting all around her. She called them to 30 yards but no clear shot. She was so jazzed . It was an awesome morning. I haven't seen that smile on her face for a couple years. We have had a tough go with an at risk teen. But this morning she truly enjoyed herself. I am so happy right now. Shannon is a true craftsman and gentleman. Only down side is that I am giving up my new OG pushpin to her. It will bring back memories and smiles for years. I may even buy her a Maine license to hunt just the last day, her birthday. Not a big deal in the world but I am busting open with joy and I think we all need these positive stories. Al, great story and happy to hear your wife was smiling and relaxing from an enjoyable hunt with you.
Get her the Maine License and lets hope she kills a good gobbler on her birthday.

I take no credit for her hunt today, she was on her own, lol. She is going to figure out that I'm really not that great  :OGturkeyhead.

I would be thrilled if my wife would hunt with me, so encourage her all you can. Maybe she can pick up the slack for your team  :TooFunny:

My wife will travel with me, but she's off doing her thing while I'm hunting.
