Those are real nice!! My mom used to live in Palmdale and loved trout fishing.
If memory serves me right, they used a garlic bait...maybe power bait? Been too many years
but the scenery in your photo is way cool.
Nice fish, right there, Socal..man.. Do you pan fry them?. I've eaten a bunch of brookies, not many rainbows. Native brookies rolled in seasoned flour and pan fried will bring you to your knees. It is that good..Mike :you_rock:

Tclark They were bitting on the ol' garlic power bait,and It helped that I soaked it in some garlic smelly jelly.
Hognutz I bbq them with some lemon pepper and lots of fresh lemon juice they are fantasitic that way and jay their good brother.
