So gonna make a call for a small kid at church. Was thinking of doing a 3" call. I've always concentrated on 3 1/2" calls so the few 3" I've made sounded kinda dull or dead. So my 3 1/2" calls are 7/8" thick with a 1" to 1 1/4" pedestal with a 3/4" hole in it. 8 other small holes in bottom. So my question is do you guys just downsize from your usual 3 1/3" measurements for a 3" call? Thanks
