Title: which scope base H&R NEF .410?

thinking of having a NEF .410 single shot 'SB1' drilled and tapped for a scope base. have 3 young grandsons and maybe one of them might want to follow me hunting someday and thought a dot might be better for them. anyway, which scope base will I need?

I believe the Weaver rail on mine is for a Marlin 336

I can find out.

It needs to be tall to accomodate the trigger. I put one on a 10 ga single and I barely have trigger clearance.

Not quite understanding how your scope base is interfering with the trigger.........
