Post by: Sanatorium on May 02, 2022, 01:58:48 PM
Went out last night just before dark and killed them, we caught way more than you see here keeping the 20 to 25 inch sized ones.

Shooo! They'll be good eating that's for sure. I used to pan fry walleye fillets with pecan meal for breading and buddy you want to talk about good

Hard to beat a mess of walleye for the dinner table. Way to wrangle 'em there, Sanatorium.

Very nice! Grew up living my summers on Bay of Quinte on Lake Ontario walleye fishing. Now, living in Maryland, where walleyes are pretty much unheard of, I still get up to Lake Geneva and fish Lake Erie for a weekend every summer. Nothing beats walleye!

I tried walleye for the first time last week in Yankton, SD. It was ok, but not as good as crappie in my opinion. It reminded me of bass.
