5 days non stop now. First 2 days good good action. Next 2 wind and lip locked birds. Today was beautiful but still lip locked.

I admittedly don't get on here much. Our Pennsylvania season started yesterday. I heard 2 right away and played cat and mouse until around 0930. I couldn't get them to commit. It was a really weird hunt. Both birds seemed to be around 100 yards apart and were gobbling alot through the morning. They also started gobbling at 0541which is around 10 minutes sooner than normal.

Congrats Juice! I just got back from spending a few days in Pa. I killed a bird on opening day there. I did not take precise measurements but he looks like he will not be an upgrade. He probably would score around 50. It was a really fun hunt. I hooked up with Wildspur for a hunt on Monday. We walked just shy of 10 miles and only heard one gobble around 9. It was rough hunting but we had some good conversation and needed to catch up. Here's a pic.

Still at it real hard, hunted 9 straight days and I'm whooped. Working tomorrow and can't get out til Friday. I almost had a buzzer beater today on a good one and couldn't get a clear shot. We watched him walk. More to follow All.

Was out Monday no gobbling till 8:55 then the gobble started were going at it left and right then he,s gobbling far away what the heck then he gobbled and sounded like he was in my blind got the shooting sticks up and xbow ready then I see the head jumps on a log and goes straight towards my Jake he,s got a 2" beard coming out of his chest horizontally oh well thats turkey hunting. Back at it tmorrow. :firefighter:

The last I looked we were floating somewhere around 4th place. We're gonna need another bird to stay in contention. I know Wildspur is limited because he's heading out West for a bear hunt soon. I'm not sure how two with one, deputy and Will are making out. Once we get that 9th bird an upgrade would be nice. Good luck guys.

Back at it tmorrow. Ive had gobbling every morning except 1 and the locals say the turkeys went silent cause the yotes are everywhere in this county must say did see a lot of yote scat while there. They were gobbling at 5:40 till 6:20 and they just faded away with their hens I guess.

I have 1 day I maybe able to get out. As Joe mentioned, I will be in montana for a week chasing bears. If lucky, I will have a few days once I get home. It's not looking go for me this year.

Still going here, I hunted yesterday and had a little roost action. It was quiet all morning. A beautiful day for sure, I had a nice spring nap under a tall pine. At 11ish, I had a brief conversation with a hen. She sounded like she was on her way in, I was hoping Mr. Big was in tow. Then she clammed up.
I have two days in Pency then it's over. I've spent some time in the woods this year fellas and it was great! ;^) I'll report back soon.
