After a rough start to the year, I was on my tag this week and had some bad storms coming through, wind and rain... I was out with a buddy who was looking to take another bow bird, and hunt ended with me on the trigger and "Bad Weather" Bird down!
I was able to get back out with my buddy and his wife today, still had some bad wind and we moved our set to the valley, I called in a couple of hens, they worked their way to us and then down the field past us, Jen notices 2 more bird enter the field, I glassed them and 2 toms. I called and the 2 hens start working back through with the toms following. Hens go by again and then a "rush" and the toms are on top of us and the DSD's. Jen picks the "right" bird, on our side and Justin takes "left" bird. As soon as Jen hit hers, Justin slammed an arrow through his. ARCHERY DOUBLE!! both birds died in sight of the blinds (Double Blind Set)

Doubles aren't easy, bow doubles must be pretty difficult to pull off. Congrats!

have you ever been involved in any other archery doubles?
in 7th grade we had aau basketball practice in jen's parents' barn. full court up in the loft lol
is spring ever going to get here?

Well not a Double Bow, was a 1st for all of us. Jen and I doubled with her Bow and me Shotgun! I looked back at my notes, and this was my 17th double!!
I sure hope so, my buddy just got more snow in the U.P. of Michigan.
