Here is a Bocote Slate over slate. This is the first time I turned Bocote and I really like it. It looks great when finished and sound great as well. My wife saw it and now wants me to make a bunch of coasters for her with the bocote. This is going in the classies.

Nice call looks good, that sure looks like a brookside game calls slate the other side is the polished side.
