Don't feel bad, Greg, I did the same thing this morning. Had more gobbling maybe than any time I've ever been in the woods and came home empty handed. Great hunt, though. Had one at 20 I needed one more step out of and the old boy ghosted me. It was like he was beamed up by a spaceship.

I have 3 weekends trying to close this guy out . Hunted 2 Sunday's and both days this weekend . He was gobbling good this Sunday morning 41 degrees in Florida was great . 75 yards from him as grey light came up I'm right under 4 hens and they went crazy catching me . All of them stayed on roost clucking and putting till 8 then flew off . The gobbler waited about 5 minutes and I watched him fly down the strand for a long ways . Maybe I get him this coming week maybe not but it has been a bunch of fun trying and learning .
