I have made quite a few wingbones and a couple of pot calls. This is my first attempt at a trumpet. All walnut with 308 caliber brass. The next will be made with 5.56 brass.

Try something in a 25 caliber then you can use 1/4" delrin for a mouth piece

Thanks guys. I will try and get a 25 caliber case. That's about the only caliber I don't own.

Congrats! It looks great and is obviously very effective. I built my first turkey call, a
wingbone, this year, and am looking forward to carrying it this season. Making turkey calls is fun
and addictive!
