Title: Primos Photoform Leading Hen or Upright Hen
Post by: BDeal on April 04, 2022, 11:01:25 AM
It sounds like these decoys are very realistic and packable. Any suggestions between the 2 types of hens (leading hen or standard)?

Thank You!

No preference here? I've heard some people say not to use upright alert hens as they may scare gobblers off so I thought maybe the leading hen was a safer choice. Then again most turkey hunters I know do use upright hens and kill birds so......

I have the jake version.  The neck seems unnaturally long but its pretty good looking otherwise.  I haven't used it yet, I have a Deception hen deke.  She's the upright version, I would have gotten the other one I think.  Go leading hen is my advice.

I have the standing hen, upright. That coupled with the Jake makes a deadly duo. Never had a Turkey shy away from this set up, in fact I had hens get comfortable and feed around the set-up for long periods on several occasions.
