Who is the best out there when it comes to building and setting up the perfect turkey gun (adding optics, finding the right choke/load setup, etc.).
People pay to have their turkey gun patterned? Just research your gun and you'll find a hundred post on what choke and load combo it likes. And installing an optic is about as basic as it comes unless you need your receiver drilled and tapped.
Has previously posted you can learn and do a lot on your own. But if you want to use someone look at William at Sumtoy.

Rob Roberts is about as good as it gets
X2 on Sumtoy.
Either Rob Roberts or Sumtoy.
X4 on William at SumToy
I have had rob roberts do some cerakote jobs on 2 shotguns of mine. He also extended the forcing cones while there are there.
He does great work, but the shipping and handling adds up quick.
I agree w the do it yourself. It ain't that hard and you'll be hunting with a piece of you in a sense, something you did to make it what it is. This let someone else do it is not what I'd ever recommend.
Buy some TSS or load it, grab 3 chokes and sell the two you don't like. Done. TSS is pretty forgiving and easily patterns well enough to kill birds out to 40 easily.
I guess if you are really into chasing numbers in paper it could be beneficial to have work done, but it will not be drastically better at killing turkeys!!!
Depends on what you need did. With they guns out now days most the time we can hit the nail on the head with just a choke. Most the companies have learned from the guys that have been doing gun work to help them. (so they come ready to go) Now some will up sale you on a bunch of stuff.
Drill and Tap you should be able to get most any gun smith to do it. We have been putting a list together of the ones that have installed out mounts for folks. I will have it out b4 long.
