Just got my pack of rain chalk in today and have a quick question. The directions say "when wet, rub chalk on lid and hold box call upright. Wait 30-60 seconds for flash drying and begin calling."
Does this mean it works basically as a desiccant and will dry out a lid or rails that get wet? Obviously I don't think it would work if a call was soaked, but I was not expecting this extra use from the chalk.
I have tried experimenting with a damp box call lid and it will flash off in about 30 seconds then run fine.

Thanks for your feedback. That's good to know!
