I've got a couple pretty nice custom calls and a Lynch foolproof that my dad gave me that is quite a bit older than me at 35 years. I've been eyeing getting either the tall timber Gabriel or the lil heartbreaker as something that might not hurt so bad if I was to lose or break. I was just wondering if anybody had experience with both and which one y'all preferred.
A friend of mine has a lil heartbreaker, damn good call. Really pops.
Lil Heartbreaker is a real good call. I have also hear the Tall Timber is a good one too....it really is a toss-up on them, I lean towards the Heartbreaker....
I bought a lil heart breaker when they first came out and it's been the demise of many toms. It hasn't been out in a few years due to my call addiction but I wouldn't hesitate buying one.
Get you a SS box that Al and Josh just listed..

You can't go wrong following this advice
I'll have to keep my eye out now. Those are some good looking boxes. The one I would really like is already sold
I have a Primos Lil Heartbreaker. I have had it for quite a few years. Great call, looks good and sounds great. I also have an original Heartbreaker with a fancy tiger striped grain Purpleheart lid. Looks even better and sounds great also.
Pretty much the only difference in the two calls you mentioned is the addition of thumb cuts on the side of the TT. Both boxes will please you in my opinion.(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20220227/a72a1c39b6b6abdfb450e5025ba7d559.jpg)
