Who's heading down for the March 5th opener? I can't wait to get back for a couple of those osceola sunrises!

For the first year ever. I'm going for it. I drew the second hunt at a wma so I won't get to start hunting until the 9th but hoping to get a few days of scouting in!

Just added an extra vacation day to get there a day earlier to scout and set up.  I'm 15 hrs north in this ice box and I'm actually looking forward to a lil Florida heat.  Got a serious pile of gear ready, shooting all the guns this weekend. Excited!

I SO WISH !!!!!!!!!!!!

Fell in LOVE with hunting Florida last spring.  Had an open invite from the landowner to come back this year.  Just couldn't make it happen.    :(

Planning on gobblers, hogs, specs, largemouths, rabbits, swamp buggies and airboats.  Serious family vaca!!!!

I'll be there! First time hunting the opener, I usually wait to go down the last weekend or two of the season.

Not the opener but the opener for me, I'll be there March 12 with my oldest daughter trying to get her first Osceola.

Sitting here waiting on the opener, got a couple Tom's on camera and still have a couple other good spots to checkout !

WELL,
it looks like I may not be going after all. My guy lost some property and I may be stuck at home. Hard to find an open spot for the opener when it's 11 days away.... Major bummer!!!

WW come hut a romp n stomp wma, that's pretty much all I do. The permits are pretty hard to pull most of the time.

I need to apply for a quota next season n drive on down.  Still a good drive coming from north west Florida
