Picked one up for my son. He ran a few dove shot loads through it and likes it... I do too.
It came w a modified choke.
I searched this website and internet but most info on this shotgun was over 10 years old.
What choke should I buy/try first?
Anyone have a good choke/shell combo they like?
Years ago I was mentoring a kid for hunting, he had a 20 that we put a Jelly Head on it, shooting Longbeard XR. Pattern was very tight. Never called in a turkey but I was impressed with the pattern. he has since moved away and sold the gun so I can't give you anymore than that.
have you bought any after market chokes for it yet ?
the reason I ask, is because I have the exact same model of shotgun, and they are suppose to take remington chokes, but mine does not.
I have not found a choke that will fit it yet.

Surehuntsalot, No... Haven't bought a choke yet but picked up a factory full choke for $15.00.
It has a modified choke in it now and my 6 year old shooter isn't having any issues killing a paper turkey target at 20-30 yards shooting 2 3/4 dove loads.
I looked at pics of remington chokes and they look like the same spacing to the threads as the factory choke but you're not the first person who has brought up the strange aftermarket fit issues. With that said and after talking to a member on here and the Georgia GON forum, I'm not as worried about a aftermarket choke anymore.
I have some TSS shells in route. My plan is to see how the run out of the modified and full factory choke. I think either of those chokes paired w TSS is going to be the ticket with my son in a blind over a decoy and the shotgun clamped to a tripod for a 25 yard shot.
I let a friend of mine's little boy have that exact gun 7-8 years ago. we put a Remington thread Tight Wad in it and it shoots LB #5's great. they are a super sweet little shotgun.
