For those that have this gun, how do you like it? Thinking of buying one before turkey season.
I like them enough I have 4 now.

Been looking hard at this gun myself. Coming stock with a lengthened forcing cone is a nice touch. If it came with a pistol grip stock I'd own one already. Haven't found an aftermarket option yet.

Honestly I like mine as much as my Benelli. Patterns great and functions flawlessly with everything from light loads up to my extremely heavy turkey loads. Triggers a little heavy but its crisp.for the price and function its an A plus in my opinion.
Will it cycle 3" handloads

Thats all I shoot. 1-5/8 , 1-7/8 , 2 ounce and 2-1/8 ounce. I have had zero issues. I have a gauge I made to trim hulls before I roll crimp them. Come to think of it my ssx 3 shoots them all flawlessly. I have had issues with my benelli however. Changed out the spring and cleaned it right up.

I independently designed and hunted a pistol grip all last year that fits the Masai Mara 20 gauge. If you're interested in one, feel free to shoot me a PM.
Are these guns Turkish?

Aren't they all Turkish these days? I'm not saying there's shutting wrong with them. And many of them look/feel great. But I just can't get behind the Turkish autos yet. Lots of guys love them. Just not my style. Yet that is. Maybe one day but for now, I'm set with what I've got.

I like Italian and Belgium made scatter guns. I do have a Turkish sa-20 but it is a dedicated turkey gun so it does not see too many rounds. A dozen or so a year on the good years!
