My daughter and her husband own a place in NC with a few acres. I have been invited to hunt it anytime. Well
im at the age where im going to do it. My question is what is the simple way to get a out of state hunting license. I have other states with no problem online. But cant seem to get the right website for NC. Maybe a call would be in order. Thanks
Call the dnr. More than helpful and yes the online is a bit confusing for out of staters.
Here's a good starting point....

Thanks guys you have been more than helpful!
Buy them over the counter at any Walmart or as others have said the NCDNR will sell them to you with a credit card and you can print them as soon as you buy them on your home printer.
By the way, if you're hunting East of 95 our trophies consist of Black Bear and Tundra Swan. Folks come from all over and spend piles in pursuit of these two. Of course with all the rain we've had lately we now have trophy mosquitoes that sometimes cross with a few Eastern birds as they have been know to stand flatfooted and breed our hens....
I buy my non-resident license online every year for NC. I hunt more there than I do in Virginia where I live.
North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission website to purchase non-resident hunting license online. Piece of cake!
