Anyone ever heard of it? I just made this trumpet out of it. Beautiful wood, with some pink, brown and tans in it

Ah ha!!!! Thanks oneshot. Gonna order some more here shortly
I just bought a piece from cookwoods recently. Absolutely gorgeous lumber. Haven't cut it yet but now I will have to get on the ball and make a pot. I'll post when I get it done. How does it turn anyway? feels like a medium density wood.

Turns much like apple. Long curls come off and sands nicely
Man, It seems like Chile always has the best looking wood....I just read where this stuff averages around 18.00 bucks a board foot! It looks really sweet! The call has a nature of its own, it speaks turkey for sure!!! Pappy
Went back to Woodcraft and they had more, so I bought the better looking of the two pieces
Thanks Doug
