My cousin shot a gobbler with 4 measurable spurs and 3 more button spurs this morning! Ever seen anything like it?(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20210516/7535a4525ba07d09d96771a45a41f802.jpg)

Nope, that's a rare rare bird there bud
He's getting a full body mount of it. The bird has given them the slip many times. Picture perfect as this morning was this gobbler didn't gobble a single time on the roost or on the grounnd. They were right place right time as the hens brought him past.

I killed one last year that was double spured on one side but that one there is really special.. Congrats
That's a unique one!
Ive only seen them in pictures. Rare
Have seen other photos but congrats to your cousin-extraordinary bird!
WOW!!!
Only in pictures. That's pretty unique.
Wow that is awesome. Congrats to your cousin. Glad he is doing a full mount. He needs to be appreciated.
Man, that's super cool! Tell him congrats. I've got a buddy shot one but it's second spurs weren't quite that defined, just little nubbins.

Awesome bird!!!
Sent from deep in the woods where the critters roam.
Why do I see all these blank picture posts with a "Tweet" showing? Is it just me?

I am not having that issue.
Awesome! Glad he is getting it mounted.
I killed one that had 2 spurs each leg, wished I had that mounted many times. That was 25 years ago and haven't seen another one since.
Very cool!

Thats wild and a new one for me.
Very cool! Congrats to your cousin.
The only double spurs I've ever seen is on a Palawan Peacock Pheasant from the Philippines.

I killed one a few years back, I shot a Double that morning and the one had Double spurs!! Now mine are not near as long as what your bird has but still very unique.

I have a friend in Missouri who's killed two of them, a Rio and an Eastern.
Very cool! Glad to hear he is mounting it.
I've seen a lot of dead turkeys and nothing like that!
Awesome, and congratulations to the fortunate hunter!

The 2nd gobbler my hunting buddy killed years ago had double spurs. Never seen one like that since. They must be pretty rare.

Definitely more rare than multi bearded gobblers in my opinion

I shot a double spur several years ago as well, but mine is not even close to your cuz's. Congrats with a truly unique trophy.
