Title: Recommend a Turkey Vest??
Post by: BDeal on May 03, 2021, 11:56:23 AM
My current vest has a rip in it around one of the pocket snaps and so I am in need of a new one. I really like the Primos Gobbler Gen 2 but of course they discontinued it. I would like a vest that has at least 4 separated slate call pockets, 2 box call pockets, and one that has compartments for at least 6 strikers. I also want the carry bag to be roomy for decoys.

Any suggestions? Also, if anyone knows where I might find a Primos Gobbler in Size L/XL please let me know.

Thank You!

I purchased the Will Primos vest this spring and really like it.  I have 3 days hunting with it and would purchase it again in a minute.

Downsides are that it is expensive...

I purchased a Will Primos Vest several weeks ago. Although it is expensive, I really like it after hunting in it.

I have used the ALPS NWTF super elite 4.0 for a couple seasons and found it pretty well made. I have been pretty curious about the Badlands vest recently though after finding out about it

Does this vest have a game bag or large enough pocket for a DSD decoy? My old Cabelas vest has just about had it and will be looking for a new one and so far I like what I see here.

Made in America. Wow...don't see much of that in the Turkey vest market anymore if at all.

I have been using the one Walmart  sells for the past few years and really like it. It has separate pockets for slate calls and strikers. Maybe not as many as you like though. Just one box call pocket. Also has a large game bag. It is holding up really well and priced good at $54.00
