Title: North Mountain Gear Leafy Jackets
Post by: Jimspur on April 22, 2021, 09:43:29 AM
I was comparing the different types of leafy jackets
North Mountain makes and have a few questions.
1. Will a mesh jacket sprayed with permethrin stop ticks the way a solid jacket sprayed with permethrin would?  2. Can seed ticks crawl through
the mesh?  3. How much heavier and hotter are the Guide Series Leafy camo jackets than the Mossy Oak mesh leafy jackets? Only want to buy one so looking for recommendations on which one to get. Thanks, Jim

I have and have been using 2 of the NM mossy oak pull overs since they first came out. Spray them down every year and have had not a single tick problem. I live in the deep south and if you do not spray your clothes down , you will have ticks all over you. Also these pull overs are well made and have held up great.

Thanks Spitten - I was leaning toward the Mossy Oak ones anyway because I don't really want an attached hood.
