I just saw a statement made, the company is back up and making ammo again 27/7. Hopefully this will put a fire under some other manufacturers buts to get going as well.

Glad to see it back up and running.
Hope so. I drove past the Lonoke AR plant where the Remington Ammo is/was made a week and a half ago and it had like 7-8 cars in the parking lot.

It's all automated. That's all they needed. lol
Having spoken to a couple of reps at the gun shop, it's a component issue in many cases. The primer companies have plenty of cups laying around. But, with the COVID shutdown in Australia (most of the priming compounds are actually coming from there), all the primer cups in the world are worthless without the compounds to fill them.

They are also up and running in the Ilion plant making 870's again under new management and new quality control. Will be nice to see if they're as good as a wingmaster. Hopefully America's oldest gun maker will be back in form!

They've yet to have any guns come off the line. Nobody wants them to succeed any more than I do, I'm a Remington fan, but frankly I'll believe it when I see it. Here's hoping!
Randy Wakeman doesn't seem to think it will happen either and I'd say he's a pretty knowledgeable guy in the shotgun world. I hope he's wrong too because IMO an 870 is the cream of the crop when it comes to pump guns.
