Title: Water bladder in a Tactical Tat’r 2?
Post by: Tca126 on April 08, 2021, 12:50:38 PM
Anyone add a water bladder to a Cabela's tactical tat'r 2 vest? If so, any guidance on how you added it?

I made a post a couple weeks ago about the vest. And a member posted on how he added the bladder and attached photos. I would scroll through and look for it.

I bought some lightweight nylon fabric and sewed it into a bag on my wife's sewing machine, then I hand-stitched the bag to my vest. I also bought some shell loops that velcro to an adhesive backed patch. I stitched the patch to the vest and now have shell loops. I would suggest replacing the adhesive velcro that came with the loops with non-adhesive from a fabric store though, it gummed up the needle I was using and made it very difficult to push it through the fabric. Thankfully it was a pretty small patch.
