Title: Facebook Users
Post by: bird on May 27, 2011, 11:20:56 AM
OK there are quite a few OG members that are Facebook members and I just wanted to take a moment that on OG in your profile there is a spot where you can add a direct link to your Facebook page.  But I have to say that a vast majority of the people that are inserting their FB link information are not doing it properly and your FB links do not work at all.  I just wanted to point this out to the FB members so you can look at your link and see if it needs to be fixed at all.  You can check it by clicking on your link under your profile picture and if it doesn't take you directly to your FB page then it isn't entered correctly into your OG profile settings.

Thank You

Good post but your link only works if I am signed in to Facebook and Bad Grizzly works either way? Not sure why?

This may be a good one for a tutorial, for dummies like me! I have entered everything I can think of for my facebook page and nothing works.

We had a tutorial for this in the TECH help section

http://oldgobbler.com/Forum/index.php/topic,1627.0.html

jsut DONT put the full URL in for the link...just the part after  the http://facebook.com/   part when you are on your page...

so for example, our page is http://www.facebook.com/OldGobbler   so in my profile I just put the OldGobbler  in the box... the part AFTER the .com/  in the url!  Yours may be longer....that is OK! :you_rock:
