Here it is opening day in Louisiana... can't wait, can't sleep... wake up extra early, gonna get to that favorite spot before anyone else. Sure enough, I arrive before anyone and get to hunt where the big bird lives.... and nothing... not a peep. Give it until noon and call it a day... stop on the trail to pull a trail cam out to see where the big bird has gone. Click, click, click ... picture after picture ..... WOOAAHHH... there's a hunter.... on the day before the season.... shotgun in hand and hide behind decoy (reaper?) And he came out about an hour later .... couldn't see what he was carrying out over his shoulder. Here I thought I was the first hunter in the woods and the truth was, I was 24 hrs late... Next year, I have to set my clock a few days earlier...... maybe I can beat this guy to the big bird.
Hope you showed them pics to the proper authorities. With technology today they might be able to find something to identify him with.
That sucks! Poachers/thieves are the worst.

Like he said, turn him in.
Pretty common down in this region , But , unless you turn the pics over to the law ?
The issue continues...
If it were me I would be making some phone calls and putting an end to that crap. Thats why I have several DNR officers in my phone contacts.

I call in any illegal hunting activity. Its my duty to do so.
X10, If you turn those pictures over to your wardens, they will catch him. That person is a game thief, criminal, and not a part of our hunting fraternity. Apparently he can not harvest a turkey legally and ethically. He deserves to be caught and fined. Best of luck...
