I went deer hunting yesterday evening. In area 6 in Louisiana we still have till the 15th to either sex archery hunt. Wish I would have seen one of them........nice deer!
Even up here in Canada we are seeing antlers still attached. No wonder I am not finding sheds!!!!

I have seen them in March down here in Alabama with hard horns that have not shed yet.
Turkey hunting northern Michigan a few years ago and had a spike buck walk by near the end of April.
barry i would think the ones that are carrying there rack this late should be hitting the ground anytime now. as soon as this snow is gone i will be shed hunting/ turkey scouting
kewl pic, he should be a good buck next year. The bucks here in NW/Pa are not wanting to give them up either.

A buddy found 3 in Va this weekend. Any time now. I'm going tuesday, wednesday and every weekend from here till turkey season.
