Title: Help me understand the Black hills hunting
Post by: fountain2 on March 24, 2021, 09:46:21 PM
I'll be going through the black hills area on a short road trip in may and I'm wanting to stop and hunt in the black hills.   I'm not even sure how much I'll be able to hunt, but I'm going to hunt some.

My question is with the tag application.   My wife bought my license today and I'm guessing I will get my tag in the mail.  My license is good for the black hills unit 132 (bh132).  I was unaware of it being unit specific.    Not having a clue about SD, is this the right unit?   I was figuring the tag would be good for the entire black hills region, but I guess not.

Any and all advice will be welcome.  I'm going to start looking at maps and get on-x.

They mailed the pink tag out within a few days, or did when I bought mine.  As already stated, only one BH tag.
