I like wild turkey so long as it's fried. I didn't know it could be cooked any other way.

Fried is good , but filet you some strips and put cream cheese / jalapeƱo peppers inside  and wrap with bacon .
Put them on the pit or bake in oven ... thank me later :)

I'm down to just making wild turkey poppers now,I have tried the fried nuggets and like them but after finding this recipe a few years back and now trying numerous recipes with different peppers and creme cheese, this is the only way I eat it now. This is my latest batch from Superbowl a few weeks back.

I like it fried pretty good but I take a mallet (actually the head off an old maul) and I pound that breast out till it's flat first. I do that regardless of how I cook it, but in this case I cut it up after its flat, egg wash, corn meal and fried.

Look up copy cat chick fillet recipe and cook it that way-it's amazing. I do it in nuggets and defiantly tenderize them a little first with a mallet or whatever ya got.

I usually do it in nuggets, but strips is good also. My wife makes it in homemade pot pies!!! Dang they are good!!!
I like some of the recipes y'all are posting too. Anything with cream cheese, jalapenos and wrapped in bacon is good. I've had deer, turkey and duck like that.

As long as it's fried I don't care if it's strips or nuggets.

We always make Cashew Turkey. Little fried chunks are the best. The only other way we do it is the turkey popper recipe above! I'll eat it either way.

Strips.  Dunked in pancake batter with lots of pepper and a little salt.  Roll in crushed cornflakes.  Deep fried until dark delicious heavenly gold.

Those poppers look good, but if my daughter caught me doing that, I would fear for my life!   ;D

Not to derail from the OP but another way I've found to use the legs and thighs is to simmer them in the crock pot to make enchiladas. After 8 hours or so on high the meat pulls right from the bones and tendons. Has a similar flavor to pot roast being dark meat. Could use the same method with any other braising liquid you wanted and serve it like you would a pot roast.

That being said it's hard to beat some fried turkey breast with hot honey and biscuits. I usually break the breasts up to 5 or so strips when I clean the bird. Though I admit being a swamp yankee I don't no the first thing about frying turkey or making homemade biscuits but I'm pretty good at eating it. Its 3:30 AM and I am starving. Would like to wake my wife up and beg her to fix me some fried turkey with biscuits and gravy but i guess I will  have to do without for a few more hours if i want to keep on breathing

If frying, I prefer nuggets over strips for whatever reason. but in all honesty, oftn times we just substitute turkey breast for chicken. We've made all kinds of stuff out of it.

I really have only cooked turkey about three ways, frying by far the most. I have made home made noodles with turkey cooked in.  I have grilled the breasts with a Carolina vinegar base sauce. Made a bunch in the deep fryer. I nugget them up, give them an egg bath and dredge in Italian bread crumbs with a little lemon and pepper added.

I would like to try the poppers. Do you use a hole pepper or slices of pepper? I would assume a hole pepper, stuffed with cream cheese and a turkey fillet rolled around it with a wrap of BACON to cover. How long do they bake? Please correct me where I am wrong.

If you have never grilled a hole breast you should try it. I like it very much with the vinegar BBG sauce on it, takes about an hour. Or 3 large drinks, with a break in the middle. I guess you could run a thermometer on the first few you try if you don't drink.

Honestly fried turkey is my least favorite way to eat it.  I like the cream cheese, jalapeno, bacon poppers, or fajitas.

Poppers here too, I personally don't like jalapeno's so cream cheese, sliver of onion and green(red or yellow) pepper work great too!    Cook on grill or hot oven till bacon done, a little sweet Baby Rays at end don't hurt either.
