I have 2 12ga 870 supermag and Stevens 301t in 410.
I have three in 12 gauge a Benelli SBE 3, Mossberg 835 and Mossberg 535. All three have Indian Creek chokes. Using some Apex TSS 3" #9 this year in either the 835 or Benelli. Going to use the Longbeard XR in the others. This is the first year I will have used the Benelli since my wife bought it for me has a retirement present from the Army.

I used a Benalli nova 12g, with a 28" barrel, till I found the "killer"...835 Mossberg with a lot shorter barrel. I also use an Ithaca turkey slayer which throws a good pattern. This past year I bought a 20g Mossberg and using TSS #7. Nice light gun. My son dropped a bearded hen with it at 35yrd.
I guess i'm a lush... all 12 ga. :camohat:
Browning A5 3"Mag with a tricked out barrel with William's tube
870 SM, 3.5" 23" tricked barrel with rib mount red dot
870 Wingmaster with 18" aftermarket barrel set up for invector tubes
Winchester 1300, 22" barrel, NWTF Banquet
11-87, 21"Cantilever barrel with tubes
Savage single, barrel shortened to 21", tricked, Remchokes, red dot
Browning BPS Stalker 24" 10 Ga.
Benelli SBE I 24" 12 Ga.
Remington 870 3 1/2" Super Mag 26" with an extra 3" Mag. 20" rifle sight Rem choke barrel 12 Ga.
Knight TK 2000 Muzzleloader 12 Ga.
Benelli Nova 24" 20 Ga.
Ithaca/Tikka Turkey Gun O/U 12 Ga./222Rem.(This one I use for fall hunting)
I can only use one at a time... unfortunately! But I have 2. 835 and a youth 20 ga decked out for the boy! As it gets a little later in the season I start carrying the lighter of the 2!
I am pleading the 5th here. My wife of 35 years occasionally glances over my shoulder at my posts!
Remington SP-10 is my one and only by choice.
(Not to hijack this thread, nor troll anybody with a small arsenal, but am I the only one that feels one gun for one purpose is enough?)

Thank you for your services, and all the others that served. We would not be turkey hunting if it wasn't for all you did for the country....

All kidding aside, Just enough to enjoy.
Currently a Model 37, SP-10, 11-87 in 12, youth 11-87 in 20, youth 1200 in 20, nova in 20, had an 870. Would like a BPS, 1300 and .410 if it was legal. Had to modify this forgot the ulti mag 835, had it since late 80s and was my go to gun a long time

One is never enough. You need back ups for your back ups. A few spares and guns easily switched over just in case. Gun poor is no good!
I own zero dedicated turkey guns. Ive owned 1 dedicated turkey gun in my lifetime.
One,
Mossberg sa-20 turkey thug, got it new cheap on gunbroker. Tru Glo iron sights IC .555 and Hal's big 20xl.
My previous turkey getter is a SBE 2, 26 inch barrel jellyhead 660 and Winchester xtended range 6, although that gun kills turkeys with any turkey load, shoots dead on the double beads. It was always a waterfowl and turkey gun though!
Had a Browning NWTF version for a while and sold it for the 20ga and everything I needed to load tss, that thing was nice but too heavy!
1. CZ Bobwhite 28 gauge sxs w/Skinner express sights. Hal's xl load.
2. Remington 870 20 ga. w/Sumtoy mount and Burris FF3. Hal's 1 5/8 oz load.
3. Ithaca 37 Turkeyslayer w/Vortex Venom. Federal heavyweight 7s.
Stevens over / under 20 ga
Rem 870 20 ga
Moss burg pump 20 ga
Tri star auto 20 ga
12 ga 870 greenleaf Camo original.
All killers
First was a 870 3" 21" barrel.... She has had several rattle can camo jobs.... Nitro 4x5x7 Sumtoy .660
I also have my go to Charles Daly Maxi Mag 3.5" 24" barrel .660 Rhino Nitro heavyshot 4x5x7
Primary: Benelli M2 Compact 20 GA
The rest of them:
Browning Silver NWTF
Remington 870 SPS Super Mag
Remington 870 SPS Greenleaf
Remington 870 SPS Original Bottomland
Remington 1187 SPS Greenleaf
Remington 1187 SPS Original Bottomland
Remington 1187 SPS Treebark
Savage 301 .410
I really want a Franchi Affinity 20 GA to cut the barrel down to 22" but I'm pretty much done buying turkey guns after that.
I have two 870's one in 12ga and one in 20ga. I use the 12ga and the wife and kids use the 20ga
I have one Weatherby SA459 20 that is turkey only. One Knight TK2000 m/l 12 gauge. One TC System 1 M/L 12g. All are for turkey only. Currently looking for a CZ Mallard O/U in 20g with a double trigger. I had a Rem 870 12 that I used to use for duck and converted to turkey only, but my son claimed it. He can outshoot me with it, so I gave it to him.
2 dedicated and a 3rd when needed.
1st My Custom Rem. 11-87 SP 12ga I built
2nd is my Dad's Rem 11-87 SPT 12ga, I use this for mentoring, youth hunts and newbies, my backup on trips.
3rd is a Benelli SBE I have with choke and sights I can drop in/on when needed.
MK M GOBL
Just 5 at the moment. Also got a few others that do double duty, ducks and other birds.

I fold. Too rich for my blood,
My wife has asked me more than once "How many more shotguns do you really need?"
I always tell her that the default is "1 more".

If you can afford it, it's almost foolish to me to not have two guns set up for turkey hunting. Too many things can go wrong.
That said, I am not really a collector of anything, so when I decided to lighten the load and bought a 20 gauge, I gave one of my 12's to our grandson and his wife.

So, I guess the answer is yes, I am the only one.
I'm a minimalist. That goes for guns, fly rods, turkey calls (2 diaphragms, 1 pot) and outdoor clothing. But if I had my weapons experience forged in combat, I'm sure I would think different. Truth be told, I do have a Beretta Onyx 12ga. O/U for all my upland and waterfowl wingshooting which could be used in a pinch, if I ever thought to take it.
Oh come on man! Am I really the only turkey nut on this forum who only has 1 dedicated turkey gun?
2 dozen fly rods here but part of that count was from being left a number from a family member that passed. Each has a purpose really. I use a turkey guns and retire them, sometimes bring them back out and reuse but they all are sentimental to me. Most turkey hunters I know who have hunted 40 years own multiple guns. I guess to some folks it looks like vanity or excess but I'd expect those same folks probably have the same redundancy somewhere for things they like.

No mcw3734, your not the only one. Several years ago I sold my BPS that I had turkey hunted with for 30+ years in order to help finance my current dedicated turkey gun, a 12ga Benelli SBE2. I do have several other shotguns which could be used in a pinch but I see no need in having more than one dedicated turkey gun. I guess you could call me a minimalist as well when it comes to dedicated turkey guns.
835 mossy
20 ga M2
Stevens 301 .410
20 ga mossy youth
870 bottomland special purpose
Guess I do have a few lol

Thank you! Yes, thank you Gobbler428, it's good to know I'm not alone.
Too many! I have dedicated 10, 12s, 20s, 410s.
I only have one dedicated shotgun - REM 870. I sometimes carry a Stoeger M300 auto loader, and have killed birds with it. But the 870 does wonderful things with Federal #5's with flight control wad., so it's the go to. Never take the turkey choke out of it. But I am now hoping to get another dedicated one. All 12 g BTW.
O LET ME SEE 1 REMINGTON 870 12 GA, 2 MOSSBERG 835 1 MOSSBERG SA20 1 TRI-STAR 20 GA 1 MOSSBERG 500 410. I THINK THATS IT LOL....
Beretta 300 with long beard #5 .
Affinity 3.5 bottomland, next year will put a red dot on it.
Backup is benelli nova pump which I won at a banquet
Academy Sports had a Mossberg 930 MO Obsession 24" $499. Seemed like a good deal to me. The inside of the barrel was ugly. So I just started to polish it.... Ordered a M*Carbo spring kit.
Gonna run it with the factory choke to start with. I think their XX Full is a .660?
Good luck everyone.

YEP
I have more than I need but I have started "collecting" them as a hobby, I have close to 30 "turkey shotguns" and another dz "shotguns". I am buying another today sometime, if I ever get a method to send payment.
There's always rooms for more. Find a way to make it tax deductible and go big.
I own a remington sp10.... Ive used it solely since about 1994 , there is a Burris m-tac scope on the top , it has currently a sumtoy .685 and I shoot federal HW #7's , I own 2 plus cases of that shot so I don't see myself switching in my lifetime
Its heavy ...thats the disadvantage, the advantage is its heavy ...the shots are steady on it like a target rifle
So its 1 dedicated turkey gun ..the rest I got rid of over the years
Been on the 20 kick for 6 years , a built out 870 youth.
90's model Remington 870 sps-t
Winchester SX3
1989 835 mossberg
All are turkey guns and all have killed turkeys but now days I run with the 20 and hand rolled tss
My first ever shotgun, NEF single shot 12GA killed several birds. Since 2006 I've been using my Mossberg 835 turkey gun and NEVER have an interest looking elsewhere. It's dynamite on those birds.

Second gun is a Kinight TK2000.
Really would like to 20ga
