A friend of mine has a teenaged son that has shown an interest in turkey hunting. The kid will be super green, but I was hoping to be able to put his mom in touch with a reputable outfitter in New York to show the kid the basics of turkey calling paired with a high probability of success (which would probably involved a pop up blind and decoys along a field edge). Would also like the kid to be exposed to a few sets in the woods to show him that aspect of hunting so that maybe he'd have the confidence to try public land down the road. Anyone have suggestions for a reputable outfitter in New York?
Only guides I know here in NY are from Turkey Trot Acres, Pete is a nice guy and puts on the Northeast Call Makers Summit and Turkey Bash every year (Except last year because of covid)

I would recommend asking for Seth Gebo to be your guide.

I follow them on Facebook. Seem to have a pretty high success rate.
