I'm well aware winter patterns change, been hunting the area for years(private land)... all woods and mountains and they really spread out in the spring. This looks like a group of soon to be 2 year olds and believe we had a better hatch a couple years ago. Had been seeing 5 jakes together nearby last summer and think they formed this flock with a few others.
