Title: Please critique this Winchester "Short Film" Turkey Hunt
Post by: idgobble on December 31, 2020, 02:26:09 PM
The gobblers I hunt would have heard that gun being loaded a mile away (well, maybe a half mile  ;D ) .

Good old film editing ........ it's all about the shell and the gun...

It is obviously a marketing tool for Winchester and nothing more than perhaps a quick overview of spring gobbler hunting.  It might stir some interest among those that are new to the sport and/or thinking about taking up turkey hunting, but as an actual turkey hunting video, this one would be pretty far down my list of favorites.

Having said that, I'm certain Winchester has the resources in terms of money and videographic expertise to put out some really good turkey hunting videos if they were of a mind to do so.  Then again, maybe they have at some point.

It's an ad for Winchester, nicely done.
