Been needing a smaller pair of binoculars to tote with me to the tree stand and on turkey hunts. Love the size of compacts but you usually wind up sacrificing glass for convenience. Well I got a pair of Cabelas Intensity HD Compact Binoculars for Christmas and I'm blown away by the clarity and light gathering. They're every bit as good as some of my larger binos. Sacrifice a little bit of early and late light for the convenience but it really seems worth it. Things weigh in at 8oz and fit inside a coat pocket. I'm really really blown away by the glass quality. I got the 8x thinking that the lower magnification would get me a little bit more light which with such a small objective lens is probably more important than at other times. If you're looking for something similar these things are definitely worth the price. They're incredible.

I heard great things about those binos. Good luck with them. They look fine. Be safe, Merry X-mas....
Even more compact than the old Nikons! And evidently way better.
