On You Tube this morning I saw Roland Martin with some Long boxes and short boxes he makes. Some of 'em don't sound too bad. Thought I'ld pass it along. He said you can contact him on his web site. Merry Christmas to all.
Thanks for the info. Be safe, Happy Holidays.....
The way he presented himself as knocking off other callmakers didn't leave a good taste in my mouth. Would have to get one of his calls in my hand to know for sure...but experience says he won't come out of the gate with the quality and consistency of calls from the great masters he is so eager to copy and undercut
I watch his couple of video's , i will pass on wanting one of his calls...
Sounds like several of the ones he played had a squeak from the screw area that was very noticeable.
I emailed an inquiry. This was the response. Personally, he can keep his knock off call. But if you want one you better hurry before he has a two year waiting list. But if I were you I'd watch the video's before making a decision.
He makes calls from Butternut, Walnut, Cedar and Popular.

A turkey call made a TV fisherman? Nothing against the man trying to make a buck or a couple hundred, but I'll pass for now.
