Title: Roll crimping
Post by: B Rogers on December 09, 2020, 04:17:36 PM
All you reloaders, which roll crimper do you have the best luck with on 20 gauge fiocchi hulls? I have a BPI, and it does great on federal hills but I can't seem to get a neat uniform crimp on fiocchi. I don't use a hull vise for either hull. Any tips?

I got a vintage hand crank off eBay. I think it makes much better crimps than the BPI drill press bit I have

Thank you. I've been looking for one but can only find 12 gauge currently available.

Save some once fired hulls.  Use them to warm up the BPI crimp before crimping actual loads.  Works good.

GAEP produces the best results for me.
