I've got this call and it is a Great call IMO. As you know, Darrin matches this call with a dymondwood that Sings. If you want a different sound, as rakkin6 said, send Jeff Harrison a PM and talk with him. He has numerous wood combos that I'm sure you'll be happy with. His phone number is 301 514-7528. Great guy and makes quality strikers. Jeff's Frogwood strikers are hard to beat on any pot call surface. He has a Facebook page as well, under JLH Strikers.
