Posting these two beauties for our fellow member "tal" here on Old Gobbler. Tal had Mr. Bott craft his incredible adjustable trumpet and tube call, both in bocote.
What a stunning piece of bocote too! Austy knocked this project out of the park!
Congrats to both Austy and tal on this beautiful matched set. :icon_thumright: :icon_thumright:

Congrats on a couple of mighty fine Austy callers!
Congrats on that beautiful set. Austy is the man....he always gives his best!!!
Sweet set of calls, that amber matches up with the bocote really nice
Great looking calls from an outstanding gentleman.
Thank you gentleman for the compliments on the calls.
During my initial conversation with Tal about the materials to use to build his Adjustable Trumpet from he had mentioned his love for Tube calls. As a result I had decided to build him one of my Tube Calls (baffled) to get some feedback. During that conversation with him he had mentioned that he liked a beveled Lip Stop on his Tube calls rather than a normal flat one, which for me is not the Norm. So for me the Tube Call was a fun build, something different, if you know what I mean.
Thank you Austy. Tone and craftmanship first rate.
Both very nice. Really struggling with tube calls but I like them.
I too received a bocote adjustable trumpet from Austy about a month ago. Could not be happier!
AUSTY IS BEYOND UNDERATED...YOU CERTAINLY WON'T SEE MINE IN THE CLASSIFIEDS
Finally got a photo to show my bocote trumpet from Austy. Everything about this call is first class, right down to the cord used for the lanyard. Bocote acorns to tighten the cord on the fleece bag, and neck lanyard. Also, the mouthpiece on my call is a smaller diameter than other trumpets I have, I really like that. Could not be happier with this call.
Beautiful call, Toby...
Congratulations on a fine "Killer" call...

Those are awesome looking trumpets and tube. Congratulations, Gents.
That is sharp packmule. I admire how good they look but it's the tone they have that grabs me. Thanks for sharing.
Congratulation guys! I would love to hear a sound file of one.

That Video that Curtis Terrell did was one of the very first calls that I made of this style. As you can see from the video I have made some changes to the call since to make the call more appealing to the eyes and ears. For anyone wondering, I no longer offer the 2 bell sections. Part of what I had ask Curtis at the time was an opinion as what bell he liked the tone out of more and we had both agreed at the time that the Jordan style bell (Straight inside) had a better tone.
Thanks guys for all the nice compliments. And Tal I am glad you are happy with your new calls.
Not bocote but mine are Persimmon and also top notch. (https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20201217/41feb69c217bff6a9dc4c73a8ddb26e9.jpg)

Very nice, what do you think of the fixed trumpet compared to the adjustable? Love that persimmon.
I like it. It easy to play.
