Title: 84 Year Old Sniper.
Post by: redarrow on May 19, 2011, 10:18:45 AM
These are the men whose lives we as proud Americans will celebrate and pay homage to on Memorial day. One day they too will be laid to rest.Let us not forget, and let the enemies of the U.S.A. take note.Even our senior veterans can still kick your butt.  :smiley-patriotic-flagwaver-an :smiley-patriotic-flagwaver-an :smiley-patriotic-flagwaver-an

A sniper has the most bada** job in the military. Cold, calculated, and just downright smart killers.  :you_rock:

Thanks for the link.  That was great.  There aren't many guys that could have a few minutes coaching and start shooting targets at 1000 yards with any equipment.

Outstanding. The guy can flat out shoot, whatever age. At a 1000 the grouping was a killer, especially considering that he'd never shot that gun before or that distance. You could tell the guys were blown away, probably thinking he'd be lucky to hit anything at 86. :TooFunny: I'll bet in his day he racked up some impressive kill numbers. He definitely was black hat material.

Not to take away from the OP but my grandpa is 86 and landed D-Day +3 on Utah Beach.  He had the same look on his face when he saw my M1 for the first time just like that gentleman did when he saw his old rifle.  Thanks for posting it.  I wish I could talk to everyone American that has served so I could say thanks and hear their story.  My grandpa will not talk about it to protect us but he still lives that war everyday of his live.  Again, thanks for the post.  God Bless this Great Nation
